Alan R. Rosenberg of Markowitz Ringel Trusty + Hartog Selected as One of ABI's 2020 "40 Under 40"

Alexandria, Va. ABI announces that Alan R. Rosenberg of Markowitz Ringel Trusty + Hartog (Miami) has been selected as one of ABI’s “40 Under 40,” ABI’s annual program that recognizes 40 of the top insolvency industry professionals under the age of 40. Honorees will be recognized at a special virtual ceremony on February 18, 2021.

Rosenberg is an associate at Markowitz Ringel Trusty + Hartog in Miami, where he represents bankruptcy trustees, receivers, assignees for the benefit of creditors, secured and unsecured creditors, debtors and other parties-in-interest in all aspects of insolvency proceedings and bankruptcy-related litigation. His practice has a particular emphasis on bankruptcy litigation, where he has served as lead or co-counsel to high-net-worth individuals, multinational corporations and nearly every chapter 7 panel trustee in the Southern District of Florida. Rosenberg also represents litigants in a variety of real estate, probate and commercial litigation matters. He has been recognized as a leading authority in the field of cryptocurrency in bankruptcy. Rosenberg has been quoted by several publications and has had articles on the subject published in various outlets, including the ABI Journal. Outside of law, he is devoted to his nonprofit work with Chapman Partnership, the private-sector partner of the Miami-Dade Homeless Trust. Rosenberg serves on Chapman Partnership’s Investment Committee and is also on the Executive Council for NextGen for Chapman Partnership, which is designed to encourage philanthropy in young professionals. Rosenberg is also the chair of NextGen for Chapman Partnership’s Networking Committee. In that capacity, he organizes fundraising events at local bars and restaurants to raise money to combat homelessness in his local community. Rosenberg received his J.D. cum laude from the University of Miami in 2011 and his B.S.B.A. in finance from the University of Florida in 2008.

“Accomplished in both their careers and communities, the 2020 class of honorees is an inspiration for the future of the insolvency community,” said ABI Executive Director Amy Quackenboss. “We look forward to collaborating with this diverse collection of young leaders in the full range of ABI's activities to advance the profession.”

The “40 Under 40” winners are distinguished by professional achievements and service and were selected by a group of experienced professionals from ABI’s current leadership. Nominations were submitted earlier this year by the candidates themselves or by colleagues via the initiative’s website, http://abi40under40.org. More than 200 candidates, each with outstanding records of professional achievement and community leadership, were evaluated by 20 judges. The majority of the applicants were partners, directors or managing directors at their firms.
